Applications: Use as a vertical or horizontal pipe support for all piping systems now in use in the
various mechanical industries. The PIPE¤SECURE™ can be installed on flat surfaces, walls,
columns, ceilings, floors, or other structures as needed or required by the installer.
Features: PIPE¤SECURE™ is made of a high grade material that is ideal for most any
environment. It has a platform height of a commonly used 2 x 4 wood block and weighs just under a
pound allowing for easy transport to the roof. The edges of the PIPE¤SECURE™ are rounded, and
the bottom has a unique texture that is gentle to roofing membranes.
Installation: Place the support in designed spacing six to seven feet apart, according to state
building codes. Place away from any catwalk or byway. To prevent any latent damage, do not drop pipe
on support. Be sure that pipe strap is flush on the support.
To prevent thread stripping Turn the cordless drill setting to less than 1 Lbs torque setting.
Recommendation: to drill 95% with drill and hand tighten remaining turn for snug fit.
When mounting pipe with strap use #10 or 1/4 inch flat head machine screw 3/4 to 1 inch in length.
(Do Not use Self Tapping Screw)
If mounting to the side of a structure, use washers with mounting hardware and place in the 4
mounting holes at the bottom of the support.
Spacing: Manufacturer suggests that supports be installed at intervals no less than seven feet
apart and no more than ten feet apart.
